Promoting the Adriatic: many places, one unique destination
The goal of attaining the best possible results for the Adriatic tourist economy depends on a clear strategic vision about its future. The Adriatic area comprises a multitude of places able to compete with each other or work together as elements of a single destination. The Forum’s opening session will compare the points of view and the projects of national tourist boards and international organisations on which the future of the region will depend.

Distribution of the Adriatic maritime tourism products
The availability of attractive products that take full advantage of the Adriatic requires support and promotion by effective sales and distribution channels. In this session, the representatives of some of the most successful tour operators and tourism sector intermediaries will present the criticalities to be confronted and the opportunities available in this area, presenting innovations and future projects.

Regattas and other events: a driving force for promoting the Adriatic and the nautical sector
Events capable of bringing in a large number of participants, a strong media support and high public attendance can provide many opportunities for visibility and promotion for those host destinations. Regattas, boat shows, and other thematic events are, and will be in the future, an effective showcase for promotion of sailing and nautical tourism in general. Among the speakers will be the organisers of some of the most important events held on the Adriatic coast.

Working and operating on the Adriatic: comparing the costs and taxes of different countries
A systemic vision of the Adriatic as a destination and economic area tied to the different forms of maritime tourism is not complete without an in-depth study of the costs and fiscal policies in the countries of the area. The Forum will close with a plenary session that will tackle this topic with the contribution of high representatives of companies, associations and institutions.
