SUSTOURISMO is a project funded by the European Union’s ‘Adriatic-Ionian Program INTERREG VB transnational 2014 -2020’, involving 10 partners (Research Agencies, Universities, Municipalities and Regions) from 7 Adriatic-Ionian countries coordinated by the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas that join their forces to examine and evaluate the efficiency of innovative combined tourism-mobility services. It aims at improving the environment and highlighting the natural and cultural heritage elements within the Adriatic region through the reduction of environmental pollutants caused by the increasing use of private vehicles of tourists travelling around the Adriatic countries, the reduction of pollutants to be achieved through an increase of the modal share of active transportation (walking, cycling), Public Transport and lower-carbon mobility concepts (car sharing, car-pooling, electro-mobility).
Risposte Turismo sarà presente a Trieste mercoledì 7 dicembre al meeting di progetto di SUSTOURISMO del programma Interreg – ADRION.
Oltre ad un’analisi dello status quo dell’app SUSTOURISMO, volta ad offrire attrattivi pacchetti turistici pensati per favorire la mobilità dei turisti ad oggi testata nelle nove aree pilota, si darà ampio spazio a temi come mobilità, trasporti, digitalizzazione e sostenibilità nel turismo oltre ad alcuni focus territoriali.
Risposte Turismo contribuirà al meeting attraverso il suo Direttore, Anthony La Salandra, che modererà una tavola rotonda dal titolo “Digital Innovation for Sustainable Tourism”, dedicata a sostenibilità, digitalizzazione e trend nel turismo, oltre ad alcuni focus sui territori di Dubrovnik, Tessalonica e nelle aree pilota del progetto stesso.
Risposte Turismo attraverso le sue iniziative sostiene da sempre i progetti europei dello spazio Adriatico, in particolare attraverso Adriatic Sea Forum – cruise, ferry, sail & yacht. La quinta edizione come nelle precedenti, tenutasi a Bari il 6-7 ottobre scorso, ha ospitato e dato visibilità a 4 progetti europei all’intero di un contesto interamente dedicato al turismo marittimo nell’Adriatico.
La prossima edizione del forum si terrà a Dubrovnik il 4 e 5 maggio 2023.
