Today the Kick-off meeting of the new European Project OMNIS

The Kick-off Meeting of OMNIS project “Co-creatiOn of inclusive sustainable tourisM itineraries and packages from coastal to Inner areas” will be held today in Venice.
During the afternoon public session stakeholders and locations from Italy and Croatia welcoming blind and visually impaired people and realizing ad hoc experiences will participate and be involved to exchange best practices and develop a productive dialogue.

OMNIS is co-financed by the Interreg Italy – Croatia 2021-2027 programme.

The Interreg Italy-Croatia cross-border European territorial cooperation programmme accepted 21 small-scale projects that will become part of the new 2021-2027 programming period. Among them there is also OMNIS – Co-creatiOn of inclusive sustainable tourisM itiNeraries and packages from coastal to Inner areaS.
The project falls within Macro Objective 4 – Culture and tourism for sustainable development and will specifically aim at creating travel proposals and itineraries that connect the coast with the lesser-known hinterland. The project will have a particular focus in particular on the target of tourists who travel with their pets and visually impaired people accompanied by guide dogs.
